He was a former semi-pro player from Puerto Rico who saw something in me I couldn't see in myself. By 13, I was the top-ranked player in my league. That's what great coaching does. Decades later, at a crossroads in my career, I hired an executive coach. That experience gave me the clarity to finally start my own company. A breakthrough I wouldn't have reached alone. And then, right as that clarity hit, I got laid off.
While working with my coach, I'd noticed something that bothered me. This brilliant person transforming my career was running their business on a patchwork of disconnected tools. Squarespace, Calendly, DocuSign, Google Drive, etc. None of it talked to each other. I'd spent a decade building integrated platforms for service businesses. I knew this problem was solvable.
So I interviewed 30+ coaches and heard the same story. They had the skills to transform lives, but no system to run a business.
